This point is really extremely important so that you get a visually ideal result: we need a side hair length of at least 2 cm at the time of your cut. This is the only way we can create a natural transition between the hair system and your own hair and achieve the perfect color. Our care managers will try to estimate this when you make your appointment. If you notice that your hair has not grown long enough about two weeks before your appointment, you will be doing yourself a favor if you contact us here to postpone your appointment a little.

Think about it in advance and ideally look for some sample pictures of a hairstyle that you would favor. Your stylist will then work with you at the start of your appointment to see what the most suitable style is for your head shape and type. All our stylists are highly trained and up to date with the latest trends and hairstyles. Of course, a hair system has a certain framework here, but the possibilities are super diverse. As a rule, you will find the perfect look for you in the first few weeks with a hair system by styling it yourself. The cut-in hairstyle is not set in stone and you can also restyle it flexibly. In general, the right styling and technique is one of the most important aspects for a natural look.

Of course, there are currently some special rules for your visit to O.C. We have compiled the most important and up-to-date information here summarized for you here.

The entrance: You will find our salon on the first floor to the left of the main entrance.

Parking: Diagonally opposite our studio is the public, paid parking garage of the UCI cinema.

Public transport: Various buses run from Düsseldorf main station to the Medienhafen/Kesselstraße stop.

In addition to our advice, many customers inform themselves in advance about the different types of hair system. At O.C., we want to offer you top quality and the right system for you. The central question is often whether foil or lace. There are various aspects to consider and you should trust our stylists as experts to make the right choice. There is no general rule, but our general recommendation is that we definitely advise beginners to use foil for their first hair system. This is easier to handle and therefore makes it much easier to get started with changing and gluing your own hair. With the second or third hair system and with a little routine, you can still venture into lace.

The second decisive aspect is the right hairline and density for a suitable overall look. Our stylists will look for the right system for you based on your contours and desired hairstyle. The selection is rounded off with the right shade for a natural transition to your own hair. 

Getting used to your hair system is a process and we will of course accompany you through it. Don't put too much pressure on yourself at the appointment and afterwards and let the whole thing come to you in a well-informed but relaxed manner. This way, you and your stylist will get off to the best possible start 😊

A lot of things will be new to you at first: dealing with full hair, our care products and correct handling will need to be learned. Your scalp may also have to get used to the hair system. Our first-class support with the O.C. Care Managers is also there for you after your appointment and will take care of all your concerns. Together we will always find a solution for your wishes.

Please remember that you have received a €250 voucher from us by email with your deposit. We will redeem this via QR code at the checkout. If you can no longer find the code, we can send it to you again at the appointment.

You can also pay by EC card, credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) or cash after your appointment. You will receive your invoice by email immediately after payment.

Your hair system will be freshly bonded at the appointment and, depending on the type of bonding (tapes and/or liquid adhesive), it will take approx. 24 hours for the adhesive to dry completely. During this time, you should not sweat or shower so that the full adhesive strength can develop. 

In general, you should give yourself enough time in the first few days to get yourself and your body used to the hair system. We do not recommend, for example, going on vacation or other major events directly after your first appointment with us. So give yourself a little rest and then enjoy the new quality of life with full hair to the full.

We will provide you with a few things to help you learn the ideal routine with the hair system. Your stylists will explain our products and the most important tips for correct handling during the cutting process. You will also receive a brochure with the most important information on site.

Immediately after your appointment, you will receive an email from us with a link to our O.C. customer portal. Here you will find detailed video tutorials with step-by-step instructions, the link to our Facebook group and the most important tips & tricks.
